Description
This recipe should yield enough frosting for a 9 inch cake.
Ingredients
1⁄4 cup
cream (sweet cream or half & half)
6 tablespoons
brown sugar
2 cups
confectioners' sugar Instructions
- Mix cream, butter, brown sugar and salt and place over low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Do not let boil!
- Remove from heat. Stir in confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Stir until cool enough to spread.
