Easter morning cinnamon toast

Description

A nice treat before that Easter egg hunt. This recipe will serve three kids or one adult and one child.

Ingredients

3 slices
bread (thick slices, ideally organic white bread)
2 ounces
butter (softened)
2 tablespoons
sugar (superfine granulated sugar)
1 teaspoon
cinnamon (ground)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together butter, sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Place the bread under a broiler until one side of each slice of bread is toasted.
  3. Spread the other side with the cinnamon/sugar butter and again, broil for a further few minutes, until the toast is bubbly and golden.
  4. Serve immediately with fresh fruit salad on the side.
