Holiday morning cinnamon toast

A nice treat at Christmas, before opening presentes, and an equally nice treat before that Easter egg hunt. This recipe will serve three kids or one adult and one child.

Ingredients

3 sli bread (thick slices)
2 T butter (softened)
2 T sugar (superfine granulated sugar)
1 t cinnamon (ground)

Instructions

In a bowl, mix together butter, sugar and cinnamon.

Place the bread under a broiler until one side of each slice of bread is toasted.

Spread the other side with the cinnamon/sugar butter and again, broil for a further few minutes, until the toast is bubbly and golden.

Serve immediately with fresh fruit salad on the side.
