Nutmeg butter recipe for Christmas pudding, perfect accompaniment for your Holiday dinner dessert.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 1⁄4 cup
water (boiling water)
Instructions
- Cream butter.
- Gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy.
- Blend in the egg yolk, flour and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add boiling water.
- Cook in top of double boiler over boiling water, stirring constantly until slightly thickened. Stir in nutmeg.
