Fish fingers are a good way to introduce your toddler to fish and seafood.

Fish is one of the primary sources of essential fatty acids, required for a nervous system that works efficiently. These fatty acids also help to keep heart and veins healthy. Including fish in the diet is good. One or two helpings of fish per week, preferably oily fish, are recommended

Although fish fingers are not usually made from oily fish, the better source of EFAs, are a good alternative for toddlers as it still provides some essential fatty acids without the risk of toxic substances that accumulate in oily fish and pass to humans through diet. Children are more vulnerable to these.
