Apple crisp

This delicious apple crisp recipe is a perfect way to bring the family together for some good old-fashioned fun. Ingredients

4 c apple (cooking apples, sliced, peeled or not)
1⁄4 c sugar (for the apples)
1 t cinnamon (for the apples)
1 c sugar (brown sugar for the topping)
1 c oats (rolled oats)
1⁄2 c flour (all purpose wheat flour, sifted)
1⁄4 c walnuts (chopped walnuts)
1 c butter
1⁄2 t salt

Instructions

Set your oven to 375° F. Grease a pan.

Mix together apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Put them in the greased pan.

Mix brown sugar, flour, oats, nuts, and salt in a bowl. Cut and rub butter into it until it looks like crumbs. 

Spread the crumbs over the apples in the pan.

Put it in the oven for 40-45 minutes until the top is crispy and golden, 40-45 minutes.

Remove from the oven carefully. Let it cool a little. Serve tha apple crisp a room temperature or a little warm.
