Chocolate mug cake

A mug chocolate cake is a quick and simple dessert made by mixing a few basic ingredients together, like flour, sugar, cocoa powder, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. You'll mix everything right in your microwave-safe mug, which means there's less mess to clean up afterward.

This recipe is perfect for when you're craving a sweet treat, and the best part is, you don't need an oven – just a microwave.

Ingredients

4 T flour (all-purpose flour)
3 T sugar
2 T cocoa (unsweetened cocoa pwoder)
1 pn salt (optional)
3 T milk
2 T butter (melted butter or vegetable oil)
2 dr vanilla extract (optative)

Instructions

First things first, grab your favorite microwave-safe mug. It's important that it's big enough so your cake won't overflow when it cooks.

Time to add the dry stuff! Measure out 4 tablespoons of flour, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt, if using. Pour everything into your mug.

Now, use your spoon or whisk to mix all the dry ingredients together really well. Make sure there are no lumps, and everything is combined nicely.

Let's move on to the wet ingredients. Measure and add 3 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoons of melted butter (or vegetable oil), and 2 drops of vanilla extract to your mug. Stir everything together until it's smooth and creamy.

You're almost done! Pop your mug into the microwave and cook it on high for about 60-90 seconds. Keep an eye on it, and make sure it doesn't overflow. Microwaves can be a bit different, so you might need to adjust the time a little.

Ding! Your mug cake is ready. Be careful when you take it out; the mug will be hot. Let it cool for a minute or two, and then grab a spoon and dig in!
