Noodle salad with sesame seeds

This salad tastes delicious either warm or chilled.

Ingredients

15 oz noodles
1⁄2 c cooking oil (sesame oil)
1⁄2 c sauce (soy sauce)
1⁄4 c vinegar ( rice vinegar)
1 ds seasoning (optional, chili oil, this is hot and only for older children)
3 T sugar (or less)
2 t sesame seed (toasted)
1 pepper (yellow bell pepper, diced)
2 onion (spring onions, sliced)

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instruction. But don't overcook, the pasta should still have some bite. Drain and set aside.

In a large salad bowl, mix the soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil and the sugar. Add the cooked pasta and toss well.

Top with green onion and bell pepper and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Notes

Substitute rice vinegar with balsamic vinegar and then add less sugar.
