Easy no bake cake

 A cake made with prepared ingredients that children can put together by themselves.

Ingredients

1 cake (pre-made pound cake, aboutn 10 3/4 oz)
1 pk pudding (instant pudding, 3 1/8 oz package, your favorite flavor)
  fruit (your choice of fruit)
  syrup (chocolate syrup, chilled)

Instructions

Begin by cutting the pound cake into several horizontal slices of about an inch thick each. Make the pudding according to the directions on the box and then mix in the whipped topping. Chop up the fruit in slices.

Place a layer of cake in the bottom of a glass loaf pan. Put a layer of fruit over the cake and then spoon some pudding over the fruit. Continue layering the cake, fruit and pudding mixture until the final layer of cake is placed. 

Cover the cake loosely and then place it in the refrigerator for several hours. 

When you serve the cake, squeeze chilled chocolate syrup over the cake.

Notes

If there is a special occasion, decorate the cake with “Happy Mother's Day" or "Happy Birthday" written in frosting and add some extra sliced strawberries or candy on top. Otherwise, just dust the top with powdered sugar.

You can make wonderful creations with pre-made ingredients. Take it as a way to practice some of the steps before making the whole cake from scratch.

This no baking cake is perfect for an older sibling to guide a younger one into the frist steps of cooking.

Bananas and strawberries are good choices for the fresh fruit filling.
