Minted hot fudge brownie sundae

This is a great dessert to have for that special family celebration. Let the kids help put it together as a surprise for Dad on his special day. It's sure to be hit anytime they make it.

Ingredients

1 pk mix (fudge brownie mix, 19.8 oz package)
1⁄2 c cooking oil (vegetable oil)
1⁄4 c water
2 egg
1⁄2 pk ice cream (chocolate chip mint flavor, slightly softened)
24 candy (mint creams)
12 oz toppings (hot fudge topping, 1 jar)

Instructions

Set the oven temperature to 350 and preheat the oven.

Spray the bottom and sides of a 13X 9 cake pan with a non stick cooking spray.

Place the brownie mix into a bowl.

Add the oil, water and eggs and stir about 50 times or until blended together well.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool the brownies in the pan on a wire rack for 45 minutes.

Spread the ice cream over the top of the brownies.

Cover and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until the ice cream is very firm.

Remove the brownies from the freezer and let stand for 15 minutes.

Cut the brownies into squares and place a mint candy on top of each square.

Drizzle with the hot fudge topping before serving.
