Pita pockets

You can make great sandwiches out of pita bread. Warm them, cut them into pockets and fill them with nearly anything you like.

Ingredients

2 pita bread (large)
4 sli cheese (thin)
4 sli ham (thin)
8 tomato (cherry tomatoes, rinsed, cut in half)
  salad leaves (washed and sliced)
1⁄2 c dip (tzatziki)

Instructions

Warm the pita bread under the broiler, in the oven, or one by one in the microwave oven. Cut them in half to make to pockets.

Notes

To open the pocket in the microwave oven, place a pita half on a microwave safe dish or paper towel and heat on high for 8 to 20 seconds. It should open on its own or you would only need to press a little to open the pocket.
