  • Vanilla crean cheese dip with fresh strawberries.

8 ounces cheese (cream cheese)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 drops)

Instructions

Chill for at least one hour.

Preparation time

Notes

This sweet cream cheese dip goes well with almost any type of fruit. The sweet vanilla flavor will cut the acidity of pineapple and tart apples, or make palatable not so ripe mango and pears.

For young children, try better soft fruits such as bananas, strawberries, raspberries, or kiwi.

Variations

To make a caramel dip, use brown sugar and substitute 1 teaspoon vanilla extract with 1 tablespoon caramel sauce. You could add some toffe bits.
