Chocolate peanut butter dream

This smoothie is not only delicious but also packed with protein, making it an excellent post-workout or afternoon snack.

Ingredients

1 banana (ripe, peeled and chopped)
1 T cocoa (or to taste, unsweetened cocoa powder)
2 T peanut butter (or almond butter)
2 c milk (almond milk, or your favorite milk)
1 T honey (or to taste)
1 ds vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a blender.

Blend until you achieve a rich and creamy consistency.

Pour into glasses, sprinkle with a pinch of cocoa powder on top, and watch their eyes light up.

Notes

Add a little more or less cocoa powder depending how dark you like the smoothie.

You can substitute honey with maple syrup or sugar.

Decorate the smoothie with slivered almonds, oats, chopped banana or grated chocolate.

Variations

Add other fruits like apples or pears.

Make a thick smoothie and serve as smoothie bowl.
