Kiddie mix

Cereal, fruit and nut deliciously coated with chocolate. Your favorite trail mix will not taste the same after the chocolate treatment.

Ingredients

2 c cereal (your favorite square shapes, oven toasted)
2 c pretzel (miniature)
1 c pistachio (dry roasted and shelled)
1 c raisins (seedless)
2 c chocolate (chocolate morsels)

Instructions

Combine cereal, pretzels, pistachios and raisins in large bowl.

Notes

Serve this kiddie mix for a party, school or after sport snack but... ask first, peanut allergies are on the increase and pose such a serious risk to sufferers that many schools have banned anything containing nuts.

Substitute pistachios with your preferred nuts: dry-roasted peanuts, pecans, cashews, almonds, walnuts, or even pine kernels, will be also delicious.

Equally a variety of dried fruits other than raisins.
