Meatball kebab appetizers

Serve these kebabs with a tomato sauce, pizza sauce or even a cheese dip. The kids will love them, and so will the grown ups.

Ingredients

4 cn dough (refrigerated home style biscuits, usually 8 oz cans with 3 biscuits each)
24 meat balls (thawed if previously frozen)
6 T cheese (optional, grated Parmesan cheese)
1 pepper ( optional, red bell pepper, seeds removed and cut into 12 chunks)

Instructions

Preset the oven temperature at 375° F.

Remove the biscuits from the cans and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Place the biscuit pieces into a mixing bowl. Add the Parmesan cheese and toss the biscuits until well coated.

Using a metal skewer stick on one biscuit, one meatball, another biscuit, a chunk of pepper, another biscuit, a meatball then end with another biscuit.

Placing the ingredients in that order, continue with 11 more skewers.

Place the kebabs into a 15x10 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes or until the biscuits are a golden brown.

Remove and allow the kebabs to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Add some other veggies like mushrooms or bell onion to the kebab for more of a veggie-filled meal.

You could also use other types of ready made dough to make the kebabs and cut it into wide strips and insert the dough onto the kebab around the meatballs.

To serve as finger food, use wooden skewers and make smaller kebabs with 1 meatball, 1 piece of pepper and 2-3 pieces of dough.
