Grilled cheese sandwich

A grilled cheese sandwich is a simple comfort food that can be enjoyed by even the pickiest of eaters. Consisting of only bread and cheese, it is an easy meal to make when you are short on time or ingredients.

Ingredients

2 sli bread
2 sli cheese
  butter (or margarine)

Instructions

Preheat a pan or griddle over medium heat.

Spread butter or margarine on one side of each bread slice. Place one of the bread slices, butter side down, in the pan.

Top the bread with 1-2 cheese slices and other bread slice, butter side up.

Cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is softening.

Turn around and cook 1-2 ,minutes more until the other bred slice is toasted and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the pan and enjoy!

Make a grilled cheese sandwich with the toaster and microwave oven

Toast two slices of bread in the toaster. Place one of them on a plate, top with 1-2 slices of cheese and the second slice of bread. Microwave on high for 30-50 seconds, until the cheese is melted.

You will need to adjust the time for your microwave oven.
