Easy fruit salad

Fruit salad is a healthy and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any day. It is also a great way to get kids and adults to eat their fruits.

Ingredients

3 c fruit (your favorite fruits, cut into bite-sized pieces)
1 orange (the juice)
1 T sugar
1⁄2 c water (or to taste)

Instructions

Place the fruit in a salad bowl.

Mix orange juice, sugar and water in a small bowl. 

Pour over the fruit and toss.

Notes

You can use a mix of fresh and canned fruit. If using canned fruit in syrup, use syrup instead of sugar and add a little less water.

You can also use other fruit juice based dressing or a light yougurt dressing. 

Use a warm custard as dressing in chilly days.
